Top quality is our duty, sustainability is our goal
The origins of GUTMANN date back to 1937. In that year, Hermann Gutmann founded the lightweight metal wire factory H. Gutmann in Weißenburg, laying the foundations for what is now a globally active company. Innovation and quality awareness are not regarded as ends in themselves, but as the path towards high customer satisfaction. Through a partnership-based and solution-oriented approach, not only quality and performance are continuously improved, but cost optimisation is also brought into focus.

Certified Quality
We are not satisfied with simply maintaining existing standards. For us, being good is the incentive to become even better. An in-house quality control system ensures that only high-quality components are passed from one stage of processing to the next. The result is highly precise and functional products that can be seamlessly integrated into our customers’ downstream processing operations.
At the same time, all services as well as our own professional and social competencies are continuously reviewed in order to improve not only our products, but also ourselves as a company.
Certified according to DIN EN ISO 9001:20151
Reliable processes, tested standards, and the highest quality standards: GUTMANN Bausysteme GmbH is certified according to DIN EN ISO 9001:2015.
Our quality management system covers the entire process – from development and production to sales of metal composite systems, aluminum systems, and building hardware systems.

A holistic approach
We recognise our responsibility towards our employees, the environment and society. Education and continuous professional development are a matter of course for us. We believe that open communication and transparency foster trust, personal responsibility and initiative among our employees.
Resource-saving production
We are committed to resource-efficient production with production and material cycles that are as closed and loss-free as possible, and we have implemented an energy management system in accordance with DIN EN ISO 50001.
Since April 2014, GUTMANN GmbH has also operated its own combined heat and power plant (CHP). This enables the energy used to be utilised twice through combined cooling, heat and power generation (CCHP): once for generating electricity and once for heating and cooling. This contributes to more efficient energy use and the reduction of energy-related emissions.

A|U|F – a shared objective
Strengthening resource cycles through innovative technologies and using materials efficiently – this is what A|U|F stands for. This cooperation between system suppliers, fabricators and suppliers within the aluminium industry promotes a forward-looking and environmentally conscious approach to aluminium. By recycling old aluminium windows, doors and façades, as well as corresponding composite products such as wood-aluminium windows, material cycles are actively supported. A|U|F ensures a qualified recycling loop for aluminium – both in Germany and throughout Europe.
