GUTMANN is pleased to announce the installation of a new photovoltaic system with an output of 1,400 kWp. The system has been installed on the roof areas at the Weißenburg site and, from April onwards, will cover part of the company’s electricity demand through self-generated renewable energy.
The grid-connected PV system represents a further step in the expansion of the company’s own energy generation capacity. With a total of 3,400 PV modules and 28 inverters, GUTMANN is relying on modern technology to reduce external electricity consumption and lower energy-related CO₂ emissions.

GUTMANN invests in renewable energy – a pioneering step
increase energy efficiency and expand renewable energy generation at our site. The annual reduction of 645,243 kg of CO₂ emissions is a clear step towards achieving our environmental goals.” The PV elements have been installed across an area of 6,639.3 m² and will be commissioned in April. Planning and implementation were carried out by B&S Sicherheits- und Elektrotechnik GmbH.
GUTMANN has embarked on the path towards resource-efficient energy generation. This project is intended not only to improve our own environmental footprint, but also to serve as an inspiring example for other companies.
