The GUTMANN EF68/EF68+ façade system is a thermally insulated unitised or curtain wall façade made from extruded aluminium profiles with thermal break. The system enables cost-effective façade constructions with a wide range of design options for modern architecture.
System Description
- Face width inside/outside 68 mm with variable construction depth from 55–115 mm
- Curtain wall system made from thermally insulated aluminium profiles with insulating bars of glass fibre-reinforced polyamide
- Frame appearance with perimeter glazing bead or as an SG or semi-SG variant with a 10 mm joint gap (optional 20 mm)
- Division of façade areas by means of vertical and/or horizontal glazing bars possible
- Corner joints manufactured mitred
- Overlapping sealing system with butt joint gaskets
- Glass thicknesses from 26 mm to 38 mm
- Special EF68+ constructions for project-specific solutions with optimised insulators and gaskets to accommodate glass thicknesses up to 52 mm
- Element sizes up to 2,600 mm × 3,600 mm with a maximum element weight of 300 kg
- Insert elements optionally GWD 070 or GWD 080
- High degree of prefabrication and high processing quality with low installation costs
